Baltimore’s Promise is launching a Career Readiness Demonstration Model in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED) and Baltimore City Schools.

As the first step towards a universal promise of post-secondary education and training for graduates of the Baltimore City Public Schools, the Career Readiness Demonstration Model seeks to establish a pathway for Baltimore City high school graduates who are not enrolled in four-year colleges or universities into well paying, high-demand and high-growth occupations in the city and region. The Demonstration Model would fund occupational skills training and additional services and supports for an initial group of between 400 and 500 young people over two years. In addition to providing the tangible workforce training these youth need, the demonstration model will also work to better align the partnership between City Schools and MOED to create stronger post-secondary pathways for Baltimore City graduates.

Please join Julia Baez, Executive Director, Baltimore's Promise to learn more about the model and opportunities for partnership.

This program is for ABAG Members only. Lunch will be served.
