In ABAG’s role of connecting members to policy makers, we are pleased to offer this introduction to Jill P. Carter, Director of Baltimore’s Office of Civil Rights and Wage Enforcement. This Baltimore city office is devoted to upholding the federal and local civil rights laws, as well as the local minimum, living, and prevailing wage laws. The overarching mission of the Office of Civil Rights is to carry out activities to eliminate discrimination and protect individuals' civil rights. There are three commissions currently housed in the Office of Civil Rights and Wage Enforcement: the Community Relations Commission, the Wage Commission, and the Civilian Review Board.

Given the clear connection to racial equity and a fair democracy, we hope you will join us as we start an ongoing conversation with this partner in City government.

After registering, consider sending questions for Ms. Carter in advance to

This program is for ABAG members only. Lunch will be served.
