ABAG’s Program Committee is responsible for guiding ABAG staff about the educational needs of ABAG members and helping to design and implement programs to meet those needs. Specifically, the committee:

  1. Provides ideas and guidance about programs, including new topics, program design and format, and priorities;
  2. Reviews the program feedback tools and uses the information they provide in our decision-making about programming; and
  3. Guides ABAG practice and protocols regarding programs and events.

Possibly the most popular service to our members, ABAG offers a varied menu of over 100 activities each program year to address the broad cross-section of topics and issues that are of interest and concern to grantmakers. The Member Services Committee partners with the Program Committee to expand and strengthen its member relations. The committee usually meets two times a year. Megan Milliken of the Town Creek Foundation is the chairperson. An agenda will be sent in advance.
