As a membership organization, we are pleased to provide Requests for Proposals, or "RFP"'s from our members to the broader community.

latest requests for proposals:


1. Family League of Baltimore

Family League of Baltimore is soliciting bids from highly qualified food service management companies (FSMC) to provide summer meals to sponsored sites that participate in the U.S. Department of Agriculture Summer Food Service Program. The pre-proposal conference call is on 03/29/17 at 10:00 am. This RFP opens Monday, 03/27/17 and closes Monday, 04/10/17 at 4:00 pm. 


2. The Annie E. Casey Foundation

The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Baltimore Civic Site requests proposals for community-based workforce development initiatives that will deliver a range of employment training, placement and/or support services to un- and under-employed residents of East Baltimore. Priority will be placed on initiatives that demonstrate a successful track record of service in East Baltimore, and that prioritize collaboration with community residents, aligned service providers, and neighborhood-based and regional employers. Deadline for Submission: Friday, April 14, 2017


3. Open Society Youth Exchange Fellowships

The Open Society Foundations’ Youth Exchange, in partnership with the Human Rights Initiative, seeks applicants for its Community Youth Fellowships. The fellowships come with an award of up to $60,000 for full-time, 18-month projects (prorated for part-time or 12-month projects). The Community Youth Fellowships will support dynamic activists aged 18-25 who want to implement a project of their own design that advances human rights anywhere in the United States.  This opportunity is specifically for young persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Successful applicants should demonstrate a connection to the community in which they will be based. Human rights projects could include those relating to criminal justice, workers’ rights, employment, education, health, housing, or immigration, among other subject areas. Application Deadline:  April 7, 2017


4. The Helen J. Serini Foundation 

The Helen J. Serini Foundation is committed to investing in the leadership of their community's non-profits to ensure success today and into the future. In order to do so, they are excited to announce the launch of their newest grants program: Leadership Development Grants. This small grants program was launched specifically to provide leadership and/or professional development for key staff and volunteers within their community's nonprofit organizations. 5. The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation: Grants Supporting Military Members and their Families

The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation seeks grant requests from nonprofits serving veterans and their families in the areas of workforce development, physical/mental health, and barrier elimination. These areas have been selected because they align with current Foundation goals, promote reintegration of military members, and offer significant funding opportunities. Click here for details

6. The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Small Grants Program

The Maryland Small Grants Program (MSGP) allows smaller Maryland and Northeastern Pennsylvania nonprofits to apply for a grant–operating, program, or capital–of up to $50,000 for two years ($100,000 total). This program includes all Foundation areas of giving. There is no application deadline

7. The Goldseker Foundation
